Who is the biggest Panthers bust of the last five drafts?

JFC, KB is a bust? Dude averaged almost 1000-8TDs per season for us. Also, that garbage time stats is full of poo. I disputed that multiple times with real analysis not just regurgitating what some other poster incorrectly stated. Look at last year, in our two best road wins (NE and Detroit, both 3 point wins) he had 162 yards and 1 TD on only 10 total targets. Averaging over 16 yards per target in two big close road wins isn’t garbage time. That while we play better without KB stuff was also debunked since we went 5-3 with him including our only two good road wins and 6-3 without him including a playoff loss because of poo WRs. People want to say the offense was so much better without him yet they ignore Cam’s two best games last year.

People are already saying Hunter Henry is a potential HOFer averaged around 40-500-6TDs so far? Wow. I’m not saying he wouldn’t be better to have than Butler but hold your horses. He’s not close to a HOFer yet. Are OJ Howard, Njoku and Engram all future HOFers too? They are around Henry or better so far. Go look at Travis Kelce’s first two years and you can say future HOFer.

And how about Cam’s best collective season, in which he won MVP? Remind me if that was with or without KB...

Ill give Vernon Butler one more season to prove its not him.

I see where you're coming from... but I really don't know if it is fair to put Butler in that category just yet.  You're right - one more year is probably good.  But you've got to remember that he:

1) Has been hurt

2) Has had Star & KK in front of him for his entire time in Carolina, until now.  But now he gets to be behind Poe, which also limit his effectiveness, IMO.

I’m gonna have to say Vernon butler. Based on a couple of factors.

1. Coming off a super bowl run with two already high performing DT’s, why draft a rotation player in the first round.

2. With guys like Xavien Howard, Hunter Henry, Ogbah or Derrick Henry still on the board we could have filled more of a need

3. With the signing of Dontari Poe it’s obvious the staff and front office don’t believe in him and his ability

4. Quite frankly has not done enough to be worthy of a 1st round selection therefore is categorized as a bust until he shows anything

People offering up Kelvin are nuts. Obviously, he wasn't and isn't a special player and had and has a lot of weaknesses - but the man performed to a sufficient standard when healthy. We were able to move him for an acceptable draft return before his paycheck blew up.

(Also, frankly, he was poorly served by an idiot regime that completely failed to free him up to play his game. It doesn't take an NCAA D-I coach like yours truly to know that you can put a limited eighteen wheeler like Benjamin in a position to succeed by positioning the right pieces around him. We did that occasionally...but so occasionally it almost seemed like an accident.)

Compare that to Vernon "Tha Bust" Bustler. He didn't even succeed as a luxury pick. He showed his ass as a Motel 6 pick. No luxury there. There was snot on the pillow and semen on the sheets. The ice machine did not work.

You aren't a coach. You lack the brains
