Cut loose by the Texans amid regime change under new GM Brian Gaine...

Has a long work history with Ron Rivera. Has even worked with Marty Hurney before...

Would love to see him brought aboard in a front office position, including and up to Assistant GM...

His knowledge and experience would help make our front office better.

I am worried about who is running the operation--sure looks like Marty and Ronnie--frankly, that is scary.

On the football side, yeah.

I thought it was interesting to hear that Tina Becker wanted to fire the team's current legal counsel but was advised against doing that until after the sale was complete.

Far as I know, Richard Thigpen has been the teams counsel since it started. His involvement in Richardson's unreported non-disclosure agreements has probably doomrd him from continuing.

More seriously, why would anyone want JR3 as, for Christ's sake, an assistant GM? He's experienced (as is anyone who has been doing the same thing for a hundred years with limited results) and more or less a glue guy administratively, but, really, does he actually bring us closer to a Super Bowl?

Are you Mister? You think like Mister.

Seriously, my feet hurt.

Can I get a foot rub?

Why would we bring the guy you wanted for GM in now when the sale of the team is imminent and new ownership may be announced any day?  What would be the point ?  Let the damn process go to completion and let the new owner decide who he wants to run the team.  I swear you have OCD on this thing scot.  Hurney , Rivera,  and Tina are obstensibly  running the show until JR signs away his holdings.

Jimmy Raye was either a threat to the new GM or was over rated. In either case untill the new owner is determined why bring someone else on who could get axed when our regime changes.

Because post-draft is the season for these kinds of changes.

Three different teams have already overhauled their scouting and front office staffs.  Those guys will all be looking to latch on somewhere new, including Raye.

Won't say that good folks don't get fired in these shakeups because they do. Still if he was that great then why was he fired?

    • Rod kinda confirmed that Staalsy is gonna retire. Called it a great ending to his story.    Glad for him to go out on top with the cup and conn if true.
    • Every union, union adjacent, or union tangent organization does this. They prey on dumb employees  who think the union is there for them instead of the mob or some other social-politically entangled arse. Always degrades the product and indeed the price of that product too. Then money flowing up to people with 0 to do with anything about the product. Its the most simple protection racket and oldest in the book yet people are still sub 70 enough to think it matters for anything other than making money for the racketeers.  I mean this is on their Wiki(yeah i know wiki) The NFL Players Association is the labor union representing National Football League players in matters concerning wages, hours and working conditions, and protects their rights as professional football players. So instead of the player doing that with his own agent which is why you have a fkn agent lol. So they are pilfering money from the player twice. Agent then NFLPA The standard annual membership dues are approximately $15,000. While players are not legally obligated to formally join the union, those who choose not to are generally still required to pay a mandatory service fee equivalent to union dues. Can't take anyone seriously when they talk up unions and since the mob is involved that's why you get those refs doing NFL ref poo. You can even hear former mob Michael Franzese just open admit this now that he's out of prison and making YT videos.(has been for years now)
