Won't say that good folks don't get fired in these shakeups because they do. Still if he was that great then why was he fired?

Because the Texans changed GMs and he was part of the old regime.

That kind of thing happens on a regular basis.

It also doesn't happen on a regular basis.

For instance, when the incumbent personnel are judged to be too good to lose, as opposed to random friends of guys who are friends of guys who know guys who are friends with guys or sons of other guys.

Sure it does but just as often they keep folks as well. Gettleman didn't clean house when he came in and get rid of Beane for example. It isn't a given everyone leaves..

No, but it also doesn't mean they're awful at their jobs. Lots of good people have been booted after GM changes only to find other jobs and excel at them.

Heck, a pretty good number of people who get coaching or front office jobs in the NFL have at least one firing in their past.

Do you realize no body is paying you any attention at all?

That's sort of the nature of pearls before swine.

They root around, snuffle a bit, oink and f*ck, occasionally eat a pearl by mistake. But basically there's a disconnect.

I appreciate your concern, but it will be hard for us to help them, friend.

Actually I think getting fired at least once in your life is a good lesson which teaches you many things. And you are right that you can do a good job and just be in the wrong place or circumstance and get fired. Too often whether you get hired for a job or get fired from a job seems to sway people's opinion about the quality of the job they did and that is too restrictive. Reminds me of the whole Hurney sucks because no one rehired him mantra used around here.

Troll that he is, he has some originality,  and I find him a more enjoyable poster to read than someone like yourself who is all about " look at me "

Shocking from the person who just last week disregarded the letters posted by Jerry Richardson's victim and said this was nothing but accusations. I prefer people like you don't prefer me.
