Cam at MetGala red carpet tonight

I thought Cam was just dressed in his crazy outfits like he usually is at some fancy rich person event. And then I realize that people were supposed to be dressing crazy and cam actually looks reasonable compared to most of them.

Panthers QB Cam Newton returned to the Met Gala on Monday after being criticized last year for looking like Willy Wonka, the "candy man" from the popular 1971 film. This year, Newton again chose a signature hat, a colorful tux and big glasses.

Hate on the MetGala...as you should...but kinda crazy that we have a player that's on the Tom Brady level of simply being invited and shows up to events like this.  Imagine Jake Delhomme's ripped pants on the red carpet.

 

Also, seriously...how many NFL QBs show up to the MetGala and nobody blinks an eye? Brady, Cam, RW, Aaron Rodgers...that's it probably. Kinda cool.
