I like the picture, but here's a quote from the article it's linking:

Quote

'What do you think I should do with it?' he asked New York Magazine afterwards. 'I could buy an island. I could buy a private jet... I could get myself a 22-year-old!'

Also, something about tossing around breast implants.

Sounds like the NFL picked a winner. He'll probably be Jerry's new besty.

I am not sure if this is good or bad. I have no clue about this guy but according to a few posters this ends well for us. Not sure what the future my offer. I just wanted my boys to focus on the season without having the sale of the team hanging over the stadium. Keep pounding!

Tepper worked as a trader at Goldman Sachs for eight years but left to start up his own hedge fund, Appaloosa Management, in 1992 after repeatedly being passed over for partnership.

In 2009, he made a trade that netted his company $7.5 billion and gave him a payout of nearly $4 billion.

'What do you think I should do with it?' he asked New York Magazine afterwards. 'I could buy an island. I could buy a private jet... I could get myself a 22-year-old!'

So he's like Jerry Jones?

You guys are gonna be hatin it if his MO is to low ball everything.  I'm thinking gettleman 2.0 with player salaries

He will hate it when his revenues drop, ticket sales decline, and rating plummet. He may be cheap but he knows he needs to spend to make money. Also there is a salary cap floor so it’s not like we are going to spend like the hornets vs Cleveland. I don’t have gettlmems #s but Gettleman spent about the same as everyone He just liked to not spread that money around and enjoyed bargain hunting. That a style issue.

People thinking Tepper is going to cheap will be shown in his coaching and GM hire. But remember there is a salary cap floor no matter who is picked. Tepper isn’t just going to flush us down the toilet with reserves at key positions so he can pocket a quick 100m. He spends when he spends as evidenced but several articles posted here. I think he just gets off acting and coming off cheap. It’s like a shtick.
