For selfish reasons I hope training camp stays in Sptbg - my hometown.  Economically as well as convenience.   Attendance is pretty good at TC and has increased each year the last few. Here are last several years.

2009 - 19,429, 2010 - 26,760, 2011 - 34,243, 2012 - 44,255, 2013 - 44,382, 2014 - 49,029, 2015 - 77,625, 2016 - 135,371, 2017 - 100,815

Sptbg and Wofford do a fantastic job handling the crowds every year.  Wofford and the Panthers have invested in keeping the facilities upgraded.  The facilities used by the Panthers didn't exist until Wofford decided to work toward hosting it.  I remember that the first contract in 1995 depended on a final examination of the new practice fields weeks before TC was to begin.  Not sure there is a comparable place to hold TC without having to build and/or invest $$.  Whatever happens at least we have 2018 and 2019 to host and 20+ years of memories.

Plus I don't think Sptbg is any hotter than Charlotte.   I sweat just as much at preseason games and especially at September games in Charlotte as I do in Sptbg. :)

Spartanburg is fantastic. There is no place in the Carolinas that’s “cooler”.

Need to open a hall of honor.  Would have pictures and memorabilia from games played by the panthers.  Would also have bust or pictures of honored players of the past. They could charge so much and would be open year round.

 

Also need to start adding more statues outside bank of America. Players and personal that had the most impact on the team.

Currently listening to Tepper give the keynote speech at his alma mater commencement Carnegie Mellon University.   Just mentioned that a kid that couldn't afford to go to an NFL until well into his twenties is on verge of being approved as next owner of Carolina Panthers.

His father physically abusive to him. Believes he learned from his father.  He is proud to say he views his greatest accomplishment in life is that he broke that cycle.

He received honorary doctorate today.

From the introduction of him, I think he can at least identify with and understand JR giving Wofford the opportunity to host TC.  He has given millions to his alma mater.

Move Training camp to Boone , higher elevation for training and the facilities are there.

 

I’m sure that will never happen, but it would be much more appealing for fans to venture up to Training Camp and make a weekend out of it - See the Panthers and explore the mountains.

my issue also is I have financially supported this team for 15 years but a new stadium is built, the PSL is no longer valid between that situation  and with the drama over the owner, I could not sell the seats to rights very easily either.if I wanted to do so  

I have no regrets. I have seen great players and great moments in that stadium but make no mistake, the love of the Panthers costs a lot of time and money.

Are there people who do not show, of course, but many who do. ..and for the price paid, should be allowed to do as they wish

i tried to sell one game on this board to Panthers fans, they didn’t want to pay face value even with a lot 1 parking pass. ...I’m not running a charity 

 

Also, I wanted to let you know that when I talk about penalizing or otherwise discouraging non-use of tickets, I'm talking about those who would be habitual offenders. Those who keep the PSL, buy the tickets, but rarely use them in any capacity.

So, if the tickets are used less than 50% (or, name your percentage here) over X amount of seasons, the rights are then revoked.
