Panthers among league’s worst at running into brick walls

I’m sure I’m being biased as a crazy fan but it seems to me we run a large percentage of plays that really seem to have no chance of being successful.

Not just our run players, pass plays also.  3rd and 8 and we throw a four yard pass and there are 3 defenders around our receiver.

It's normal to complain about personnel but in some of these situations I don’t think it it would matter who we had out there.

Im Hopi g that our players are put in a better situation to succeed.

Obviously, having success at running the ball is about scheme and personnel. I believe that we have decent personnel, could be better, but I don't think that our running scheme is there. It seems to me that there is more focus on passing the ball than running. It's like, as long as we get a few yards or just show the threat of running, we're good. I disagree, I think that we need a better offensive line coach that can teach pass protection and run blocking or another offensive line coach that specializes in run blocking...

Some of this may be due to Cam, just stop the run and dare him to beat you throwing the ball.

And the entire league knew we had JV WRs. This year will be no different till Cam can prove that he can torch DBs with his WR Corp.

    • I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
    • 1.) LaMelo 2.) Kon 3.} Miller 4.. Giannis 5.) Moose   1.) Coby 2.) ? 3.) Sion 4.) Miles Bridges 5.) Kalk That squad would win multiple chips.
