So essentially we got four second round picks and Biz for Howard and Stone?  Works for me

Yeah, I'm not sure next years Draft is a good Draft to have so many Second Rounders. 2019 Draft is suppose to be one of the weakest in quite sometime.

He is not a PG!!!!!! Monk is a SG. He has a killer instinct. Already the best shooter we have since this Bobcats/Hornets era.

This is exactly what I've been telling people. His offensive potential is nothing less than all star, he just needs the minutes at this point so we can see him truly blossom.

He's 6'3 dude, he is meant to be a PG. He's still developing his PG skills, if he can do that, he can be a deadly score first PG. Better than Kemba. If he stays at SG, his Defense will constantly be compromised, and will just be a shooter. We need more than that for the future.

Why do you think he was backing up Kemba at the end of the Season, and the beginning of the Season? Charlotte sees him as a PG for the future. Not a SG.

Monk needs to start. We (the Hornets franchise) need to quit being such a puss of a franchise. Mitchell, Tatum, Dennis Smith, Jaylen Brown, Simmons are just some of the very young players who are already the face of their franchise. Monk can play. He needs to start. His career and future is going to be better than Kemba.

I agree 100%. Monk starting would give the Hornets fans actual hope and optimism.  Also we have little cap to sign both Kemba and Lamb so who knows where Lamb will be next year. Got to develop Monk and turn him into the player we are all hoping he could be.

Basing what the prior coaching staff did with Monk and applying it to what this coaching staff is going to do doesn't work.

Borrego has already made comments to suggest that he sees Monk as a two guard.

Basing his position on his size is not a recipe for success. I don't see much in terms of PG abilities for Monk. But, maybe it works out. Not something I would bet on.

Biz was one of our many potential players that never developed. He showed flashes and loved his rim protecting and defense. I hated the fact that he could never catch the ball.

Just think about the bigs we have drafted: Ajinca, Biz, Zeller, Vonleh and Frank. 3 Centers and 2 PFs that never have developed.

But as a positive at least he isn't Dwight(who played well but apparently wasn't good in the locker room) or Mozgov.

Maybe, but that doesn't necessarily mean he won't try him at PG. Monk played point a few times Friday evening.

I think he could be a great PG, just has to work on his ball handle skills. Which, with a good work ethic, would be right up his alley. If not, I fear his ceiling is Lou Williams. And while Lou Williams has had a solid career. We need a lot more from Monk going forward than to be a two time sixth man of the year.

I wanted Jordan so bad over Ajinca it was ridiculous. I swear, I know I can Draft better than these dip shits the Hornets have in their Front Office.

    • Regardless of how we got here, any rational fan should be excited by how well Bryce played down the stretch. Anyone not happy about that level of play either doesn't know what they're looking at, or they're still trying to drive tired narratives. Obviously, Cam had an all-time rookie season, and I'm not putting the two in the same basket yet, but as someone who has watched every snap of Panthers football since the start of the new millennium (Im old), Bryce was playing at a higher level at the end of 2024 than Cam was at the end of 2012 (his 2nd season). Cam continued to develop into MVP form, something Bryce has to prove, but as someone who watched both (and will stan for Cam always), Bryce was playing at a higher level to end year 2 than Cam did.  Go watch the film if you dont believe me. None of that means anything for the future. But the people who said BY9 couldnt play in this league are wrong.   That being said, the only thing that matters is this year. #20 is perfectly fair IMO going into the season. I mean think about it, how would you rank him??!  His in-season turnaround is one of the wildest things I've ever seen... how do you rank a guy who looked like a massive bust in September and by January was consistently playing at a top 10 level? My excitement level is pretty damn high heading into this season. There were throws from the Chiefs game onward where Bryce had Drew Brees levels of anticipation. Im excited to see what he can do with a full deck on offense, something we really never gave Cam. Really hope and expect Bryce to move up this list this season.
    • Not really, the only QB's (other than Anthony Richardson) ranked below him are new to their teams as a placeholder starter or drafted in 2024 or 2025, not a lot of gymnastics to get there. It's not about how many that is, if it's 20, 12, or 2... It means there isn't a QB who's team has committed to them for the long term right now that they have ranked below Bryce. That's not a great thing.
    • The changes to onside kicks were ridiculous and ruined a significant part of the game     It was already a high risk low reward play.  Why change it?
