Which could mean bad news for Andre Smith or Efe Obada. Maybe even Damiere Byrd but that seems like a long shot.

Seymour (sent to IR today)

Doss waived

Gunter waived

 

Losing BOTH Seymour and Doss is a bit of a shock.

Only 8 DBs, 3 of whom are essentially rookies (Jackson, Gaulden and Elder) is a BIG shock.

Are you concerned? Who could we add? 

How would you make room in the roster to add someone?

Wait why was doss cut?!.... why did we keep the TE SERINGE?

I'd normally think Obada is low man on the totem pole except for the fact that the team media are going out of their way to hype his story... 

I know they don't necessarily know what Marty's planning, but still...

Maybe Torrey Smith or one of our LBs as part of a trade?

(And no I don't want to trade Torrey, but he has some value perhaps)

As long as we play with 10 yards of cushion, won't matter who we trot out anyway.  Starting to think our plan for the secondary is to trot out people who can hopefully make a tackle after a 10 yard pass, and pray we get takeaways.

The way the team thinks when cutting a players seems like the players that have bad play issues get kept(thinking they have more potential and correcting the problems) and the ones that get cut proved themselves during preseason but still get cut. Where is the logic in that.

Voth has been pretty clear that there's zero chance of that happening. He hates us.

My thinking right now is that he probably gets a job week two when teams don't have to guarantee is salary, but it's not gonna be with us.
