Hopefully the weather holds out for a football on the backyard deck! 

36 hour Sous Vide Brisket. Started it Friday afternoon, pulled it this morning. I will throw it on the big green egg during the game to give it a smoke and bark crust. 

Also smoking chicken wings around lunch time. 

Will post some finished product if I remember!

Its the start of a week of a big event, so I will celebrate with a chicken bonaza. 

People don't know really, but Koreans love fried chicken more than that racist stereotype in the US. East coast doest really understand Korean fried chicken yet, but out on the west coast they are woke!

 

So I'll start off with a little chicken ass (Its not ass, but Anthony Bourdain used this term when he did Korean episodes, and its just fun to say). Trust me, yours... nor my own momma ever did gizzards like this and made it something you actually want to eat! 

 

But that is just more an less an anju ( bullshit appetizer you have with beer to get warmed up) Next round is a full on chicken with all that sauce and mess!

 

Then to finish it all off at 3am and last call is a plate of hot steaming chicken feet! This poo is so hot sweat comes out of your scalp within 2 minutes ( and that's me eating this for 14 years...for the uninitiated...don't even bother..you cant handle the heat) 

 

Next week I'm gonna show you people how Asians made chitlins so damn good they have franchise chains and make BANK selling intestines.
