His advantage is he doesn’t have Meg Ryan throwing him the ball. With that, they’re close to even.

Yeah Ryan is only the fastest QB to 40,000 passing yards ever and his 260 TD passes is 3rd most ever through 10 years.  He’s really holding Julio back!

Not sure about Michael Thomas above Julio Jones ... but the rest is ok

I still don't like this man lol

He does play for the Saints, whose biggest rival is the Falcons, so perhaps expected? Overall not a bad list, though Brees and Peppers should be 1 and 2 if you’re going by entire career, and lower (especially so for Peppers) if you’re going by current output. He did a weird blend.

That's always the conundrum with these ranking type lists.  What have you done for me lately?  Or what have you done over the course of your career?  He definitely seemed to incorporate both, especially with Peppers, which isn't too surprising since Jordan is also a DE.

His entire career has been in the true passing era.  No overlap.  That is why his passing yards look so nice.....and having one of the most dominant WRs of that era to make plays for him.

Matt Stafford has averaged more passing yards per game than Ryan for example over there careers.  Stafford would be part of the 40k club too if he had started the majority of his games his first two seasons.

Stafford also had an elite receiver. Still has a losing record as a starting QB (60-67) and 0 career playoff wins.

    • They may be meaningless in the sense of wins and losses but this team isn't yet at a place where that is honestly all that matters  It's full of young players that need to make progress for us to compete consistently and this (multiple players in a year getting it) is evidence that's starting to happen.
    • This argument takes nuance, but I see both sides of it.  Bryce's good games, he's one of the best in the league, without a question. Lately, his really good games have been few and far between, though we are riding on a career best day last week. His bad games are not NFL quality. Hard to argue that as well.  He reminds me of Cam Newton in one way. They are both such statistical anomalies that evaluating them can be extremely difficult. QB roulette is absolutely no path to success. Furthermore, we have literally watched our franchise recently let 3 QBs go that left and proved they could still do it at a high level. I definitely give Bryce this season, and probably next season.  If Bryce can be the good version of Bryce more consistently it's crazy to let him walk. With the inconsistencies too, I think we could probably get a team friendly deal. If he can't bring next year's roster to the playoffs, he's not the guy, period.  I do think Bryce is always going to be a guy that requires a quality offensive line due to his physical limitations. I think we can do it, but it's a factor to consider.  You have to account for that money, and Damien Lewis, Robert Hunt and Taylor Moton are all between 28-31. If he's our guy for the next 10 years, it does appear he's going to have a top quality #1 receiver to get the ball to.
