Same reason we drafted DJ Moore instead of Calvin Ridley?

Maybe he didn’t see any other guys out there that were experienced and familiar with our system? Also you can’t just send a guy out to get playcalling experience as an NFL DC and if you do and he’s good why would he come back for a side grade job?

Yea, why take Moore? He needed coaching. We don't do that here.

As for Washington. If Ron doesn't figure out how to help him soon. They can both learn on the job somewhere else next year. Because if Ron doesn't figure this out pronto. He man not be here next year. And I can live with that.

Welcome to 2018

Pretty much this. The NFL has been systematically dismantling the ability to play defense for over a decade now. High scoring games draw more casual viewers and create higher ratings and ultimately more profit for the league. The player safety angle has been a perfect Trojan horse for ushering in a new Pac-12esque NFL of high flying offenses.

Yes typically the team that scores the most points wins. Great post, would read again.

If we use cmc olsen and Samuel as our key guys we win. Cmc can’t be covered neither can Samuel or Olsen. Forget about smith.

I was going to make fun of the fact that you left off Moore, but went out of your way to exclude Smith. But I agree with your McC, Olsen, and Samuel assertions.

Moore will contribute but we need to focus on those 3. Sit Torrey down.

Was the case going into the season, but the offense is cucked on ball control and short passing. We been exposed. 6-10.

What is "cucked" ?

and then the we are "exposed"... it's October,  do you not think we can adjust or is the season over for you now?

Cucked is a submissive man who is cuckolded, or browbeat, by his wife. Or Cuck, to be conservative. So I guess we are a submissive, or conservative franchise. Which just might fit us, even if he managed to misuse it.

Not sure you should count on @RumHam providing you with an answer. He is more of a complainer, than an explainer.

I had no idea, what a freak show this forum is becoming.

I'm not even sure how to respond to that except that the Panthers, no matter how " Cucked" they are, had a chance to win each loss.

The offense is still adapting to new scheme and will get traction and I don't care if we win 20-10 or 35-24...in fact, I think we will get at least 320 yards passing today...and that's my Conservative estimate.

You aren't allowed to say anything that goes against how Rivera and company are running the team. Any attempt is met by disdain and belittling

Sucks man. Sorry that dip poo trolled you into thinking he did see the light. Terrible. One day these old morons will learn. This football day and age is well out of Rivera's time. It's about Offense, and new offensive concepts. I hope Tepper sees that and offers Riley a 6-7 million per year deal.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
