Ex Panthers employee missing

Just saw on facebook that Cade Jessup, a former colleague of mine with the Panthers, went missing yesterday. You won't find a nicer person than Cadie, who plans on getting married in mid-December. Please pray for her safety. You see these kinds of headlines every day....when it's someone you actually know, it totally freaks you out.

glad she is ok, but how do you go 'missing' when less then 24 hours have passed?

Hell i would have been in the news as 'missing' many times in my college years.

Yeah it'd have been like the boy who cried wolf if I'd have been reported missing because I wasn't where I was supposed to be during Uni. Hell one time I went to Amsterdam for the weekend on a whim.

That sucks.

This on top of starting my day hearing about the authorities finding the body of that 7 year old girl really has me wondering about the human race.

why was that even reported? it wasnt 24 hours. Hell, my wife gets mad and leaves all the time...i dont report her missing.:P

The way things are today.....you can't wait 24-48 hours anymore.

    • Doubling tripling and quadrupling down on this subject in defense of the pick is reminiscent of a certain mindset that has overtaken the political world. This conversation will become less contentious and dragged out to the point of becoming a dead beaten horse if rational minds can simply agree that we made a mistake missed on a potential franchise center and we will learn from it. All this coping is unnecessary.
    • Here in lies the rub that the supporting posters continue to ignore. He wasn’t a 2nd round pick in the 2025 class, especially with an ACL tear. It was a dumb pick for any GM who looks ahead to determine values. C and CB were much better values than an injured RB in 2024. If a RB isn’t even playing much in 2024, you have to compare him to 2025. We’re beating a dead horse but only because the defense of the pick is almost comical at this point. We’ve made a ton of poo picks and moves/non trades while Morgan was GM and the assistant GM. It happens, we don’t have to jump through hoops to act like we just had some really bad luck. The 2025 draft class is unknown so far but damn it felt way better afterwards for the first time in a long time. Embrace the potential and stop stamping guaranteed on the box of poo of the 2018-2024 drafts. We are were we aware because of them and 2025 has to hit so we can get past the 7 win max in 7 year hurdle. Also, “flashed his talent” isn’t 9 carries for 22 yards. His one reception for 18 yards isn’t a flash with 11 other touches for 27 yards. He hasn’t proven anything. We have no idea if he’ll contribute in 2026.
    • Oh for those tired of the Mannings I have bad news, Peytons son Marshal already has college teams after him and he isn't even in HS until this fall...   I'd wager we have two Mannings in the NFL in 2030
