Problem with our offense

I think the problem with our offense is they are forcing cam to stay in the pocket. Cam is like vick but Vick Could deliver a 60 yard pass in stride. Cam is larger and a bit slower but i feel he is more accurate when he throws on the run. Im not a fan of him standing inside the pocket and waiting for someone to get open. He does not see the whole field he just doesnt. I saw a few series had cam just taken off there was 15 to 20 yards of uncontested field. You have speedy receivers,a solid O libe even though they were porous against the eagles. Cam makes plays with his legs. He hesitates in the pocket when he takes off he does not hesitate to sling that MF

The problem with the offense is pace. Rivera would love to lead the NFL in time of posession, but we don't have a mammoth offensive line like the Eagles. Also, Cam is a rhythm player. When he gets into a grove, he is lethal. They have to do what's best for the QB and not try to hammer in a philosophy of ball control that is not working.

Close, but not quite. Cam is always at his best after he breaks loose a run and trucks over someone. It wakes him up, it let's him tell the other team who is in charge and who the biggest threat on the field is.

We should make sure he has one in the first series every week.

    • Lil Stanky 100% in the dot tonight... And our 2nd line has been our best offensive line this season. Maybe our 2C really was on the roster this whole time...?
    • That’s a grade I kind of expected tbh. I’m not a huge fan of NS, but he’s not as bad as what the huddle says he is minus the horrible game he had vs the Rams. I’ve always thought he’s often used as a scapegoat. The improved pass rush should hide his deficiencies a little bit better if he’s the game one starter. FS might have to be a position we punt on this year unless Thieneman falls to us at 19. The reality is, you're going to have a few average players in certain spots for a team with as many holes we had before free agency started. You can’t sign everyone.
    • I am by no means trying to say he's a world beater. I'm saying it's trending in the right direction. Especially when measured against himself.i think the team feel the same way or else they wouldn't have picked up his option. Plus I think there is a new idea in the NFL about these young QBs. Teams give up to soon. Browns gave up to soon on baker same with the jets on Geno and darnold. Maybe they are who you thought they were in the draft process and they need more time to develop than you originally planned. Either way. I do think he is as capable as darnold is as far as you can win a championship with him. And something he does have that darnold doesn't is he is clutch.  If I need one more drive and 2 mins to go I'm betting on Bryce and I am far from a homer, just going off his game winning drives. He has that dog in him on the last drive.
