He’s missed 13 of 39 games in the 2.5 years he’s been in the NFL. 7 sacks in 26 games. Not great.

That said if he’s cheap like a 6th or 7th I wouldn’t mind giving it a shot. We could have him for 2.5 years if we were to pick up his 5th year option.

... it's being rumored that they Bills are listening to trade offers.

I'm not that sold on the idea, but I know some are.

I mean, we have a good qorking relationship with them and have done deals previously, he's on a rookie deal, and there may still be some potential...

All that being said, if McD doesn't think he fits in his defense, I don't see how we could think he would fare much better here.

Is our working relationship still good after the Benjamin trade?

(granted, Beane initiated that transaction)

Lol, i'd have to think they knew what they were getting...  as you said, Beane initiated it, so he can't be mad at us.

He probably still could. It wouldn't be rational, but I've never seen that stop anybody from having an opinion.

Beane's not an idiot though. I think he realizes that one's on him.

Reid wont be back next season.

I agree, I'm hoping for this year haha if we cut Smith, this could work. We went out and got Jared Allen before deadline on the way to the SB, I'll keep my fingers crossed, but it's highly doubtful.

Andthe only reason I say cut Smith is because Cam barely looks his way, but yet when we run Moore in his place, he was the #1 or 2 read on a lot of plays. I like the vet presence that Smith brings, but we also have that with Cotchery

    • 1. Cowboys-No explanation needed. 2. Rest of NFC South equally. If I had to pick I would say Falcons.    3. Eagles- Both of the games I have attended there the fans were so horrible. The fan base is so ridiculously misbehaved, I’ve never seen such immaturity. 4- Lions- I have cousins in Michigan that grew up Lions fans and they are some of the most obnoxious people I have ever met, as are all of their Lions buddies. The NFL has been lucky that Detroit has been in the cellar for its eternity.    5. Tie between Bears and Vikings. Both act like Steelers, Cowboys, Niners fans do with nostalgia and legendary seasons but neither have ever really had them. They act like they each won 5 super bowls in previous decades but never accomplished poo outside of Chicago in 85.
