Tepper seems like an overall progressive guy. He knows what type of scheme/coaching is needed to win in today’s NFL and will hire someone to fit that. Thats the only bright spot I can give.

A little perspective...

The Steelers never fire coaches that they hire. Tepper didn't hire Rivera.

Add in that Tepper was one of the minority owners who was lobbying for the Steelers to fire Mike Tomlin.

If Tepper doesn't think Mike Tomlin is good enough, it's hard to imagine him having a high opinion of Ron Rivera.
