I heard from the huddle our line is bottom of the league despite stats stating their in the top half and how long cam holds on to the damn dam

im told cam needs a solid oline like the saints who have the best in the league despite brees gets rid of it quicker than any qb in the league

the huddle assures me

Moton is ranked 17th

Aints and Cons have two in top 25

Its great to see Moton do so well. Looking forward to seeing him settled in a position with a full training camp behind him.

It’s weird that we haven’t drafted many OL recently considering the team’s struggles in this area. Moton is looking great value at that pick.

It doesn’t even have to be a first rounder. From this list, Armstead R3, Bakhtiari R4, Kelce R6, Schwartz R4, Martin R1 are the top 5. I would be happy to add another tackle in the upcoming draft.

Don't believe in Williams or don't think he's coming back?

More the latter.Williams was awesome last year. I hope whether he stays or leaves that the injury this year doesn’t affect his future play. The other thing that concerns me is that he was after big money and I have read that his agent and the Panthers were quite far apart in their valuations. This makes me wonder whether the FO will want to give him what he wants coming off a significant injury if they wouldn’t last year. I’m thinking those dreaming of getting him cut price after the injury are doing some wishful thinking. There’s a bunch of teams with a ton of extra cap space and no tackles available. In that scenario we are likely to be outbid every time.

i mean I hope he stays I really do but I don’t think it’s a given.

Quite far apart was before the two knee injuries, correct? His value isn’t nearly as high as it was. The health is still a concern.

But if they didn’t want to give him what he wanted before the injury will they give him it now after the injury?

I think he will get offers from elsewhere and they will exceed ours. Based on last season he is the best RT in free agency. If we lowball him he will look elsewhere. But hey if we can get him on the cheap nobody will be happier than me.

The other thing is he may feel the Panthers aren’t valuing him-both by previous offers and by sending him out injured, which led to him getting re-injured in a contract year.

i just don’t think it’s as automatic as others in the huddle do.

Then Imagine if we do spend a big contract on him and he declines because of injury or last year being a flash in the pan! I just see a lot of risk in giving him what he wants but at the same time would love to keep 2017 Williams.

Good thing it took an injury to get him some PT *rolls eyes*

Yet now that Chris Clark is apparently injured, the answer is to keep Moton on the right and put Marshall Newhouse as the starter on the left.

Ron Rivera, ladies and gentlemen.

    • JJ Jansen not being on this list proves that it is shite.
    • 2025 NFL Rank: Predicting top 100 players for this season - ESPN I'll save you the click- 0 Panthers in the top 100. A couple of former Panthers and a hand full of "draft- What-If's" on the list. If this nothing else, this type of list shows the down stream impact of terrible player personnel and scouting that was in place here for years.
    • Lots of names being added to the cuts. Some names that pop to me for one reason or another (not that the Panthers should sign them, just that they stood out to me)...
