Was just about to post this myself.  He is definitely a great fit, and as far as being a "malcontent", he is the same as Josh Norman, and Josh Norman helped carry us to a Super Bowl.    Swearinger would be a HUGE boost to this defense

Only two penalties this season, three last year.

Would love, even though he’s almost like the same type of player Reid is,however with both in the backfield man it’s going to be some people getting lit up.

We need to draft a young safety and develope him. Our DBs have potential if we can add a talented safety or 2 and have a nickel who won't get burned every other play.

CJ was literally in the process of rushing for all those yards as Ron was at the podium talking about how they had to find a way to reduce CMC's workload. Ron's reasoning for releasing CJ was to get CAP more opportunities. CAP has touched the ball exactly twice all season and CMC has taken 100% of the RB snaps most weeks since CJ's release.

CJ signed here knowing he wasn't going to to be the lead back, but he's just another example on a long list of players who weren't properly utilized by Ron and his staff. Usually that's exposed through injury, but this time it was exposed by releasing him.
