So what are we supposed to do, fumble it intentionally every play and make a mockery out of the game? That's a great way to build for the future right there and I'm sure the NFL would have no problem at all with us doing that.

No but acting like its some moral victory to beat a team that wasnt even trying to win is a mistake, IMO. I mean, if they had been playing for home field advantage and we beat them , even if it hurt us in the draft, I could maybe see it but not based on what happened today.

Is Camron Jordan, Sheldon Ranks, Davenport, Lattimore, Anzolone, Klien and Davis backups?? Cause they played more than luke..

Drew Brees didn't play, Kamara didn't play. Arguably their most important players. Both were healthy scratches. I don't know what you're trying to argue. The Panthers played as many healthy players as possible to start the game, and didn't start taking players out until later. Sean Payton has several healthy players sit, including their most important pieces, and then had another five or six come out of the game half way through the opening quarter.

No one can answer what we should do because there is no logical answer to that that wouldn't make a mockery of the players.

I didnt want to win either, but we did.

Some of you, rather most of you have no concept of the function of a team.

We had guys in Kyle Allen and Cameron Artis-Payne whose NFL careers may have depended on their performance today. If Allen comes in and shits the bed today he may never get another opportunity.

So I apologize for not being upset that we are going to draft Zach Allen instead of Rashan Gary but you can bet your ass I’m glad that we performed well today because I enjoy cheering for our players’ success.

I swear the people wanting the Panthers to fail have 1) never played sports at a high level 2) have no concept of teamwork and having to rely on others for your ultimate success.

Stfu!! We played young players and retirees.. Luke was out after the 1st qrt Cmac was out after 1 series.. I know you want to be mad but in reality our best team was not on the field today.. And no matter what you think . Players will play to win no matter what..

And yet, somehow the Saints ( the superior team) was able to mail it in.

Honestly they barely beat us with brees and Karmar last week and our QB had a dead arm.. So it wasn't a hard thing to do.. We might be a better team at full health you realize that??

that would be nice, if it were the case. Ron Rivera played as many starters as he could, ove rplayers that needed playing time to evaluate, such as gaulden. he played to win, not to show off rookies and third stringers like he should have.

    • I mean, no I’m not going to panic when he got 2 Qs and looked great in 1 and looked not great in another (let’s not mention the drop).    Yeah we finally have a team that would be considered average offensively around him. Let’s roll this season.
    • The woe is me everything but Bryce sucks mantra is stale af my friend. Look nobody here is going to argue with the fact Frank Reich was not a good head coach. At the same time. Bryce Young is now in his second season with his second coaching staff and a handpicked young offensive head coach who has been known for working with QB's such as Baker and Geno. As far as the offensive pieces around Bryce we have the 4th highest salary cap allocation (that might be even higher now after the new Moton deal) dedicated to the OL in the entire league. We have 2 first round WR's one of them 8th overall the first time we've ever selected a WR that high in franchise history. And the fact of the matter is Bryce Young did not have a good preseason. It's not the first time it's happened either. We all hope to see he and the rest of the team flip a switch in week 1. But we should all be able to agree that the offensive performances we've seen from the entire QB room (Bryce included) in preseason was simply unacceptable.
    • We have seen Bryce play… what… 9 games with AT BEST what one would consider NFL average WRs? You just can’t see the forest for the trees and keep going back to your lazy take of revisionist history.    he looked AWFUL Y1 with the worst coaching I’ve ever seen in the NFL and one of the weakest WR rooms I can recall. He looked awful first half of y2 and great second half of y2 with average coaching and average skill position. I don’t know where this elite talent argument even comes from.
