I Wouldn't go that far... I would say with Olsen on his last legs it makes top 10... and  Matt Millers mock he has us taking a tight end in the 3rd. Isaac is going in the fourth in this same mock.

OT, OG, C, DE, DT, SS, CB, FS, QB, LB all before TE. You could also add in KR/PR to be honest. Even with Olsen perhaps riding off into the sunset before season end, we'd still be okay with what we have on the shelf. I just don't see us grabbing a TE in this draft, but what do I know?

I don't think DT is any bigger need than Te. Love is more than serviceable as a 3. Lb? i mean didnt we draft like 2? and shaq barely played as our starting number 3 so i dont think it's that big of a need. But then we are talking about need when have the huddle lives and dies by bpa... With BPA you just take what the board dictates and worry about needs later.

I was responding to the echo chamber suggesting that Ian Thomas will be left inactive when he lead the team in TE snaps and was active every game his rookie season.

How many games did Olsen play and how effective is he at this age? Manhertz isnt stoping anyone from getting a job...he is pretty bad bro..hes just a extra blocker..

It don't matter.. He is under contract for atleast 2 more season.. They aren't going to cut him.. You might as well leave this dream alone..

      Damn Logan Jones had a good day too. Was high on him coming in as he anchored that top Iowa line and is a fire plug inside. He's gonna be 25 to start the season so maybe he slips into the 4th but I doubt it, even if C isn't a premium position. His play on the field was top notch and the combine boosted it again. Arm length is about the only knock. But guy is plug and play at C.   This is a loaded class at C. Need to grab one.

      Bryce will be permanently replaced by a draft pick. There's not another Sam Darnold out there to save us. Tepper is going to see this throw because he dumped Mayfield and Darnold too soon. He's going to give it 1 more year before he will sign off on dumping another 1st round pick qb. Thats the cold hard truth of it. It doesn't mean we can't get younger and much better at the backup position.

      Maybe I should have used a different word and saved that for me. I want someone that has something impressive about them.  Someone that has potential to supplant a guy who is producing 25th best type of numbers. 22nd, 27th all that bottom third neighborhood.  I don’t know where that will come from it just can’t be from even a 4th round pick this year IMO. Unless FA is crazy productive.    I’ll give Bryce a better than bottom rating for his playoff game. Well above low twenties. But at least half of his games were bottom third level. Probably 2/3 to 3/4 of them were.
