I hope he plays better this year.  He just looked so stiff the couple times I saw him last year. 

I would not however label him “same type of player” of cmc.  I think they are polar opposites.  

I want a power back.  That is actually utilized by RR.  If not Hood, there are some decent later round options in the draft.  My pick so far this year is Devine Ozigbo out of Nebraska.  We already met with him.

You never know with running backs.  They come out of nowhere at random times more than any position in football.  As an 06' Catholic alum, I guess you can say I'm biased but he was super promising in college.  Thought he was going to project higher in that draft.

If he would have been healthy I think he probably would have be signed to the active roster over T Cadet.

Glad to see this for @EliMHood . Elijah Hood is a hometown bruiser of an RB (CLT Catholic and UNC roots). Hood also has one of Cam Newton's better nicknames -- "Panic Room," which the quarterback bestowed upon Hood after seeing Hood's eyes grow wide during a film-room session.

Love Hood as a player but his running style begs for punishment and he can’t stay healthy.  Would love to see a full season from him, he is a really good minus speed.
