Collins actually has coverage skills unlike Reid

I totally agree. That would be best back two we have ever had on the field. We need people to stop throwing on us, especially this division. I think we go after another good safety and wr in FA. Then concentrate on dline and oline in draft.

Everyone will be throwing on us if we have a pass rush similar to last year. We have to get a good free agent and talent in the draft. We currently have Addison and that’s it who is on the wrong side of 30

He’s getting let go cause Gettleman hates DBs, especially DBs he didn’t personally draft

Whatever helps you sleep at night. That didn’t take long. As soon as you were faced with a real football question, you just let the “hate” consume you and ignore everything. I actually thought you would make it through 10 replies. But I was wrong. Never change...lol

Sure. Your biased theory or the actual facts? Collins wasn’t going to sign it and he wasn’t having another Norman fiasco. For a player whose positional value as strictly a box safety is severely limited.

    • I watched a clip of all the offensive snaps. Young threw into some tight coverage and the guys made some plays on the ball. He also really missed some throws.  He has this middle of the field thing into a tight window pretty good and made three or four nice plays but he was just too inconsistent with his accuracy especially in the red zone. Today and in general.    That Int where people were chastising Legette for ‘not fighting through the coverage’, he in no way could have gotten to that ball. IMO. I think he thought it was going to hit the ground and didn’t see the defender coming for it. But not sure what he could have done. The camera doesn’t show the spatial relationship very well, I think the ball was way off. maybe 6 feet or more off target to the inside of the field.  Rico is a beast. And a very good receiver.   That was my impression without dissecting and rewinding, just letting the video roll. I did rewind the int two or three times to look at that one.
    • My biggest issue with keeping Darnold, which I felt we should have done, is we would still have Fitterer. And everything that came with that.  I think Morgan is going to be good.  Baker, just did not play well at all here. Not sure what else we were supposed to take away from it at the time.  That’s my short ‘I don’t want to argue about it’ take.
    • Even if we somehow make the playoffs we will be one and done so fast. Seattle, Rams, TB, Panthers, Detroit and Philly are all better than us.
