Yeah, Boston. If we manage to get past the Isles, I'd prefer to see CBJ. Not because they are a worse team, they just don't seem to pile up as many bodies and we are already hurting.

And because we'd have home ice too. Let's home for a long, hard series, at the very least.

I'm starting to worry about these injuries guys... Mac Attack did good, but Petr needs to come back 100% if we want to keep going on this run. If TVR is done for the season we might be in trouble too. Just hoping for reinforcements from Svech/Marty/maybe Ferland in game 3.

The Checkers don't play until Friday so Ned will be with us until then. Hopefully Mrazek will be ready to go after that.

Not expecting TVR at all the rest of the year so we'll get Fleury and probably Bean (at least until Friday).

I'm also not expecting Maenalanen or Ferland to be back unless we make the Stanley Cup Finals.

I do however think we'll get Svech and Martinook back on Wednesday.

I'm assuming it will look something like this:

1. McGinn - Aho - Williams

2. Niederreiter - Staal - Teravainen

3. Svechnikov - Wallmark - Martinook

4. Foegele - McKegg - Brown

Extra: Bishop

1. Slavin - Pesce

2. de Haan - Faulk

3. Fleury - Hamilton

Extra: Bean

Starter: McElhinney

Back Up: Nedelkovic

Injured: Mrazek, Maenalanen, Ferland, van Riemsdyk

Just a guess...

Nino will be first line, Svech will go back to second with McGinn third or fourth. Unless they're really trying to protect Svech by limiting his minutes

I was thinking they’ll ease him back into the lineup and have Mary out there to protect him then in the following game have him play with Jordo and Turbo.

Biggest thing we can do is try to bury this series as soon as possible. If we can win this thing in four or five games we will be able to get healthy going into the ECF.  Very important to try and finish them at home.

Yeah, I agree with this. Leading the series 2-0 coming back home for two games. We have time to work him in slowly and allow him to work back into the naturally. And considering how the team has been playing the last four games, I have no problem treating him with kid gloves for another week or so.

Good news on Mrazek, everything else looks as expected.

I feel like Ferland has been day to day for months now.

Ferland skated today for first time in a while so atleast he’s getting closer.

    • Don't have to be miss cleo. His weakness are length, athleticism, creating his own shot, defense, finishing at the rim,  Strengths - shooting and IQ.   Likely won't work as non athletic shooters don't typically work.

    • I live in Indiana and took a trip that weekend to watch my two friend's teams play (Chiefs and Vikings) IN Minnesota when they were playing at a college field, I think TCF? Anyways, our plan was to watch the game (noon game) then do some shopping at the Mall of America, I wasn't planning on watching the Panthers play Seattle since I was out sight seeing and walking around after the noon game had ended. By the time we were walking back into the Mall the Panthers were down by 2 scores in the 4th or going into the 4th and we were all thirsty from walking around for 2.5 hours after the Vikings game so we decided to postpone shopping until after we ate. We found this nice little sports bar inside the mall that had the game on. Man, I'm so glad we skipped shopping because that was probably the most excited I've been in some time for a win. Beating Seattle in 2015 felt like the "monkey off the back" sort of feeling and I knew we had finally arrived as a team. The entire bar erupted when Cam hit Olsen for that walk off TD. Literally one of the greatest moments of my life. My friend wasn't so happy though lol, by the time the Panthers game ended ALL of the stores inside the mall had closed and he wasn't able to get any souvenirs. It was his first time watching a Vikings game live and making a trip like that so he was legit upset lol. I on the other hand couldn't have been happier.
