How do tickets work this year?

I agree, but folks don't go through with each green light.

Fwiw, people had trouble with the paper tickets to, especially the print at home tickets.   I remember being stuck behind one group where the guy obviously had used a crappy printer.

The devices they used caused issues and were not syncing with Ticketmaster properly, other issue was that if a patron had issue scanning in, guest relations was to pull them to the side to figure it out but the people scanning tickets did not get that memo and were keeping people in Line and not letting it flow.

kinks to workout, Jacksonville did the same thing this season and were also having issues with the android scanners that the nfl provided to scan the tickets.

I was able to scan in right away but I also loaded my ticket far from the  stadium where people tend to have service issues which I witnessed going through security. People trying to do screen shots when they know they will not be accepted.

The main “fan error” I heard was just people not use to smart phones and not flipping through the tickets quickly. Some people had 5 tickets on 1 phone but quickly flipped through so they can be scanned. Just some people know how to work their phones better than others.

So I'm curious ... how did you have the tickets on both phones?   I thought the ticket could only be on one device at any given moment in time?   Does the ticket stay in your Apple Wallet even after you've transferred the ticket to someone else?

If true, then the new method is no more scam proof than the old paper tickets.

I've been to hundreds of concerts using print at home tickets and never once had a problem.

Now, that said, the print at home option is rife with risk if a dishonest person wants to print off a dozen and pawn them off on a bunch of rubes.....the first rube will get in, the rest will be turned away.

The scanner had a bad time with my tickets in my apple wallet. I also thought both tickets were on the same scan, like at a movie theater sometimes but they weren't. The lady had to hold the phone and the scanner kind of upside down from each other to make it work after trying straight and sideways. Way too long. Made me wonder if my screen protector interferes with the scanning or something.

I access the tickets via the ticketmaster app.  I could log in via either phone (both mine, and my son's) and access my tickets.  Just had to use my password and user id.  If someone hacked my user id and password, I would be screwed, but that was also true of the paper print at home tickets.

The ticket scanning worked for me without a hitch.  However, I had to politely ask to skip ahead of about 8 people who were holding up the line trying to figure out the system for the first time.  Stadium staff giving friendly reminders to people to have their tickets ready before they get in line would help keep things moving.

I had 5 on my phone and they all scanned no problem. The biggest issue was dumbasses not getting things ready and working before getting to the gate.

We rolled in to north gate with 30 mins to game time. Usually security gate is backed up. Got through it pretty quick. We moved through ok until we were about 10 ppl away. A bills fan with his 4 kids and wife held up everything. He had all the tickets on his phone and none would scan. Stood there for 10 mins. Lines to left and right were backing up all the way to the metal detectors. From what I’ve seen if you don’t have one of latest version of iPhone it shows a barcode in Apple wallet(wife had an iPhone 7 at fan fest and it had issues scanning). Have newer iPhone it has the “hold near” technology seems to work no problem. Its the scanning a bar code that seems to be biggest issue, they had to have multiple scanners come over to try to scan. It’s going to be a nightmare come regular season with attendance doubled.  Guess we’ll have to leave earlier, Tailgate killer

I was worried to try the wallet because I figured that would cause more issues than scanning the barcode. Might have to try it next game.
