I apologize Kemo

Until last nights game I had no idea how important you were. I always thought you were a fat tub of lard that was pretty much useless until I saw the Giants run over 200yards on us.

You are now my unsung hero. Get healthy quick so we can use your fatass to plug those running lanes.

I hope you find it in your heart to forgive me for ever doubting you!!

I have been telling folks that Kemo was our most important lineman against the run including Peppers. It is a shame that it takes something like last night to show people the truth. Then again I told folks how important Delhomme was and it took last year to prove that too.

Problem is being right doen't do much to win a game. Sure hope Kemo can play in the playoffs. We need him if we end up going back to the Meadowlands.

Yup, as we all most likely saw. He is important and maybe all the haters out there can cut him a break now. There's a reason he was signed and brought here and many of you couldn't see how crucial it can be.

Now if the Giants had thrown it more, the flaming of Kemo would continue and no one would be the wiser.

Agree I think Kemo being out hurt us. We might not realize it, but Kemo takes up so much room and so many blockers that Beason, Davis, and Diggs get freed up. From my observations it looked like our linebackers were over-running tackles or sometimes just simply being blocked. Holes were bigger and I think the Jacobs and Ward combo absolutely wore us down. When we were in position Jacobs would hurt us by doing what he does trucking and running hard, but when we weren't in position Ward would gash us right up the middle. With that said there is a little difference in 78 Hayden and Kemo. No offense to Hayden. We need Kemo back taking up all that room.

I apologize too. I never realized what a critical role he plays in stopping the run. Yeah, he mainly just clogs up the middle but watching Hayden, Walker, and Gibson get mauled made me realize how much we need the big guy. None of our other DTs can take on a double team.

    • CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Carolina Panthers coach Dave Canales said Friday that starters will play in the first two preseason games, stopping just short of admitting he made a mistake last season holding them out. The plan includes playing quarterback Bryce Young, who got off to a historically bad start to the 2024 regular season that got him benched after opening 0-2. Carolina opens their preseason schedule Friday at home against Cleveland, followed by an August 15 road game at Houston and August 21 home game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.   Canales said he will evaluate after the first two games whether starters will play in the third game. "Kind of going through it last year, we had a mix of veteran players, but [this is] predominantly a pretty young team,'' said Canales, who has at least six new starters to the defense that was the worst in the league a year ago. "I just can't pass up the opportunities. The reps in games are valuable. "[But] it goes to the night before, when guys know they're going to go out there, they've got to make a decision to play football. So it starts the night before with the prep. You start thinking about your plan, taking care of your body, making sure you get your rest.''   https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45880676/panthers-starters-play-first-2-preseason-games-says-coach
    • You call the Cowboys purely for information, but we don't have the assets to pull off any realistic trade. Also, even if they would consider any trade, it's more likely they want to do it with an AFC team.
