Was gonna say, I always thought Luck was missing passion for the game like Cam and others have. I think football was fun when he was healthy, but he didn't thrive off competition like a lot of guys do.

Maybe not, but it's a "back of my head" thing that I believe Newton may well retire at a time when none of us are expecting him to.

I don't think that happens anytime within the next two or three years though. But oddly enough if it did, I'd be proven right and wrong at the same time.

Cam will retire earlier than we expect and the fanbase will boo and criticize him for life. He will become distant of the franchise because of the hate and will be a blip in Panthers history. We will struggle for years as we use early draft picks on "potential" Qbs and will be glad as a 8-8 team year in and year out for a decade. Luke will continue to be a player we take for granted for years past his prime as the steadfast player of the panthers. We will get excited on the highlight reel of Samuel and DJ Moore and continue to say WERE FINE AT WR. Basics will kill us. Run Defense will crumble to lose games. Special Teams won't be clutch. We won't have another Gerald McCoy signing for another 5 years. People will question Tepper. People will be past due of wanting to fire Ron. I feel like the fans will push away players more than they think. Shaq, Jackson, CMC, Turner, DJ, defense could be exposed. Might see a regular Steelers thursday night game blowout. I mean thats the worst that could happen.
