Client decided to go on vacation early leaving/gifting me 10lbs of Cod Fish.

Hmmmm, ever toss a little panko and good parm on there while baking?

Probably take the wife out for dinner tonight, but my buddy has invited me over to his house to get me to help him figure out how to use his new Kamado Joe...so may do that instead.

Tomorrow I'm going to go flounder fishing for the last time in who knows how long...prolly have that for dinner tomorrow.

I'll get some inshore, and if they don't bite there I have a hole about 3 miles off.

Can't believe that the fisheries are going to shut down flounder completely next week.  I'm pissed.

I cook for a living so all the time, my clients are into the almond encrusted cod with lemon at the moment and I've been playing around with a spicy chicharrone crust, but me i like it simple, (Butter, garlic, rosemary/tyme, maybe a few capers.)

Yup, as of Sept. 5, no more flounder are allowed to be fished for, or harvested, no matter the size.

Of course the general assembly made an exception for chartered boats....they can still fish for and collect flounder.

The commercial net guys ruined the population.

Got it. Uncle lives in OBX and I texted him about it and his response was "Unwelcome news."

And he has no investment in fishing. Nor do I. Just interesting.
