Cam deep ball comment bothered me 1:95

What he said what they don't do is a problem. I just watched Steelers go empty backfield and throw it deep even though it was out of bounds. I just watched Brady complete two deep passes down the field. You have to take shots down the field. We need to get one on one matchups deep and even with help, poo be aggressive. It's a must for so many different reasons and this is coming from a QB who's best throw was the deep ball. I don't know what's going on there, but I notice teams love playing single high vs us and overall this has been a big problem for our offense the last 3 seasons

This was a prese3ason game for him. Can see it in his body language and performance. No urgency. It is an NFL trend, that I hate living with.

All these Cam threads will be gone friday. Then we will be saying oh Cam played lights out and his arm looked great. He just needed game speed experience. He has been in practice mode for 8 months. He will be fine.

Cam, from day one, has always had issues with dropping passes behind/in front of dbs.  Straight lasers and deep balls he was always good.  Now if he has issues with the deep balls, and cannot get in rhythm or find the touch it could be a long season.  I think Cam answered honestly regarding "rust".  Need to work harder then.  Branding and breaking world records are not things that Brady/Edelman/Gordon are working on.

I do think he has lost some his strength, at least from today. And he never had good touch. And today had no touch and accuracy issues.  

Im not throwing in the towel. It can take him some time to get that trust back after not being able to trust his arm last year.  But anytime you are throwing something in sports, sometimes it just doesn’t come back.  

He may have the swag off the field.  But I haven’t seen the swag on the field in a long time.  

Hope he gets it back soon. 

What? Are you on crack? You think he throws it deep in practice and not the game because of what exactly?

Go back and watch the game and see how long he had to throw vs how long Goff had to throw.

Cam is 30 yrs old now and has maaaybe 2 more years of elite running ability. Run him into the ground for 2 years and squeeze all the juice out of him. We have the roster to WIN NOW.
