2020 NFL Draft

Tyler Biadasz, C, Wisconsin

Start him at LG, kick him in to C where he is at now at the end of Paradis' deal. Would give him 2yrs xp on a pro OL before asking him to call protections.

Also eyeing Raekwon Davis + Derrick Brown as the only DTs under contract for next season are KK and Poe.

We can all but rule out Qb - we drafted Grier already and that pick was questionable enough, doing it back to back drafts makes no sense.

RB - we got 2 promising RBs last draft

WR - we got young talent, maybe on day 3 if someone falls to us

Defensive Line - pretty deep here

This notion that we will not be looking at a first round QB is ludicrous.

Defensive Line - pretty deep here, unlikely

DT's under contract gets real thin after this season. 31 year old KK coming off injury and 30 year old Poe

Horrible..I mean this makes no sense what so ever

Lol you can fug off dude I don’t need you replying to and leaving a reaction to everything In the thread like some fug wit stalker.

It was a simulated draft where I just focused on offense for fun. Chill out and go sip your Cam hate juice in the douche corner.

Ah found the ignore user function so I don’t have to see this dick weeds comments anymore. How relaxing, the psychopath literally went through and reacted to like 12 different posts like a stalker.

So much of our 2020 draft will rely on questions that have yet to be answered.

Is Cam going to come back 100% healthy?

Are we resigning any DTs?

How will Little/Daley progress?

What are we resigning Bradberry/Thompson for?

Pretty much. There's a lot of contracts on the roster either ending in after this season or next season so ..

Also we're 3-2 not even halfway through the season. We could go 4-12 and have the entire coaching staff get fired and replaced as well gutting a lot of the roster,  or we could go 12-4 and make a deep playoff run and have almost everyone demanding big contracts after the years over. So ... I'd say just wait til the season is done.

We're getting ready to be in quarterback hell...

Lol took you to wait and make sure the boy had a good game to come run your mouth

Not talking poo, but I couldn't resist. Fwiw, I just read that thread this morning, and I was also expecting Samuel to be a bigger factor than he had been prior to this game.

Curt actually had a better game catching the ball in the 1st game imo

So, if there’s a top tier talent I say FS is the way to go. If not a receiver could really help. The OL looked a little serviceable tonight but they could do better with running lanes. A power RB in the 3rd might not be a bad idea if they’d actually rotate CMC out.

Honestly, it's kind of a loaded question. A lot of it depends on the scheme the opportunity to add a truly special player at a particular position kind of skews the value as well. I mean, a team may not highly value safeties, but imagine there's a guy you think is the next Earl Thomas sitting there in the late 1st... you gotta take him. The opposite is also true. Even if a position isn't of high value to you if you have a total scrub out there it's going to hurt you.

But, to answer your question, IMO the three least valuable positions are OG, TE, and S. Probably in that order.

I should have went further about positions. You can list OG as LG and RG, safety as SS and FS. Far as scheme that is up to you and what you feel is best for starting a team. 22 spots and which are the bottom 3.

I am surprised about the TE being on the list, admitted I value TE much higher than most.  Plus its sooo hard to put RG or LG on this list now-a-days, but LG is on mine. I refer to this this when I question the Panthers, cause I share the same beliefs. You simply can not have am all-pro at every spot, so you must choose where you prefer to place value at. Other Teams share similar values too.

    • I really appreciate Bill explaining his methodology here because that gives interested parties a chance to try and recreate the results themselves. I believe that it's safe to assume that despite emphasis being placed on WRs that Chuba Hubbard is one of the Panthers' top-5 weapons. Considering targets, yardage, receptions, etc... Adam Thielen and Xavier Legette are also on the list. Jalen Coker's success might have snuck him in there as well. I can't draw a conclusion on who #5 is though. I've narrowed it down to Diontae Johnson, David Moore, Ja'Tavion Sanders, and possibly Rico Dowdle if they're taking into account his production for the Cowboys in 2024.
    • Unfortunately business is business especially when there are large sums of money on the table. Goes the same for player and ownership. Does not make it right either way.  Why would he not want to play for the niners? Closer to home with a team that has a chance of delivering a SB trophy.
    • I don’t know if it’s him bad mouthing his former situation in public or my pettiness but either way I’m not a fan. Dude was on playoff teams getting paid millions to entertain. I’m not better that because and I am better than that. You don’t bad mouth your former employer in public. Esp after getting over paid and two, poor little Russian baby didn’t get the playing spot he wanted. Rod had him exactly where is was supposed to be.  He had a mean lip check and did defend our players. Specifically the devils game around Christmas where is our Haula on his ass. Cool. Thank you. But don’t talk poo about us. Because it make you look like Haula.    “need to get as far away as possible”. fug off. Didn’t see Burnsy bad mouthing and his play dropped off too.    sorry, but Orlov doesn’t get a pass from me. See you twice a year…
