McCaffrey back injury is legit, but minor

Mr. Scot

Recommended Posts

Person says McCaffrey called it "a little sore" but believes it's no big deal.

Some had speculated it was an excuse to give him a day off or that the "back injury" was a joke about him carrying the team on his back. It appears to be a legit thing, but not necessarily a major one.

Am a little concerned with how this staff has handled injuries, especially Cam. Hoping that CMC doesn’t make it worse by playing Sunday and end up missing time.

this staff is one of the most conservative in the league, ESPECIALLY when it comes to anything neuro.

i mean poo donte jackson missed two weeks because he was slamming into a chick too hard

this whole "patients get hurt so the trainers and doctors suck" nonsense needs to goooooo

Considering he proceeded to run all over the Jags even after that first touchdown, including juking multiple players out of their cleats, I'm gonna say it's safe to assume everything will be fine.  Plus we have a bye after this game anyway

Yeah people just enjoy being negative as hell in every topic.  The only injury I can think of that can be blamed on the staff is Newton's, and that can be partially explained by Newton hiding the extent of his injuries (which he openly admitted to).  People act like we're the only team that plays injured players.

well that doesn't mean anything. with tons of injuries you don't feel them right away because you have to be able to run from the tiger.

Newton was playing when it was pretty obvious to everybody, including apparently David Tepper, that he shouldn't have been. He wasn't benched until they were told to do so.

That doesn't exactly inspire confidence.

I don’t see why this ALWAYS needs to be brought up.  Unless you think McCaffrey has an injury that warrants benching him, then I don’t see how it’s relevant.  Players get hurt all the time and the Panthers are far from the only team that has mishandled injuries (an injury).  Patriots played Gronk through a myriad of injuries.

CMac said he was sore.  Everyone is sore.  I’m not sure how that should immediately make you think, “man our coaching staff can’t manage injuries.”

That the staff has, in the past, mishandled injured players is just a general point.

As far as this story, stated above that I don't think McCaffrey's injury is anything to be worried about.

So our coaching staff hides injuries but also fabricates them?  What would be the reason for giving a fake injury as an excuse for a rest day?  Every single piece of speculation and gossip you come across does not merit mentioning.
