He wasn’t.

You can tell the exact play he hurt his foot (again) vs Tampa and his play noticeably went downhill.  I mean he went from a sore foot to a hurt foot.

You obviously missed that game. He was rusty. He hasn't looked good since about week 5 2018.

Most offenses are rusty week 1.  He wasn’t bad vs the Rams....he just wasn’t Cam.  Was nerfed.

He was bad vs Tampa when he re-injured  the foot

You're saying it's more likely for an older player who's been suffering from injuries for 3 or 4 years to look like he was 5 years younger again than it is for a young player to improve and get better with practice and experience?

Not so sure I buy those odds.

Especially a second year player.

I mean you can make excuses but the fact is he hasn't looked good since last year and you guys are expecting him to be better than a really good QB in Allen facing one of the best defenses in the league. It would make more sense to start Allen and if he struggling pull him than to pull Cam.

if cam comes back and plays amazing i'm going to take an entire week off work to go back and quote every single shitheaded post from week three to eight and poo all over it

How about I just go ahead and poo your post. He ain't never going to be the Cam that he used to be. Panthers will lose alot of fans if they go back to him.

I’m not advocating him playing vs SF.  I think Allen should go there.  I want Cam returning vs Tenn and proving the dual threat is back and healthy then.  If he can’t prove he is healthy vs Tenn then I think you go back to Allen.

If he's not going to start practicing until the week after the bye, I don't think you start him against SF even if he's supposedly 100%. He needs at least a couple weeks to get his conditioning back and have several full practices where he really stresses that foot and makes sure it's really 100% healed. I want him doing 40 yard sprints, 3 days in a row, without a hint of pain or soreness. If he can do that, then unleash him. Until then, Allen should remain the starter.
