Plenty of teams interested in Newton trade...

Largely reliant on whether Newton shows he's healthy or not if he gets the job back.

Which is fair enough. Lots of questions going to be answered with time obviously.

Not that simple.

Person believes that he will get healthy and return to starting before the season is over, but still believes his long term future with the Panthers is "in doubt".

Age, cap space and injury history questions aren't going away, primarily because getting healthy doesn't guarantee he stays healthy.

yes, right. "this text i have italicized that is contradicted not only by what we see on sundays but also the all 22 is correct because it confirms my biases" isn't an argument. it doesn't matter that you provided a link for your dumb evidence-less text. it's dumb either way lol

I'll take Albert Breer's reports over your speculation ten times out of ten.

You posted a theory. It got debunked by an actual report from people inside the team. You can keep spinning it all you want but it's not gonna make you or the "Twitter guys" (whose takes were pretty heavily mocked) any more credible.

a link isn't evidence, dork. the film people make evidence based arguments and you hate it because they don't take your precious feelings into account lol

Citing the accounts of multiple "people in that building" (i.e. people with firsthand knowledge) is certainly evidence.

I've said this before, but the person whose long-term future is most impacted by Allen's play is Grier.  Grier was drafted to be the quality backup that could be a fill-in starter, and possibly could develop into a long-term starter if needed.  Allen was an unknown when Grier was drafted, and his successfully checked the first two of those three boxes.  It is possible Allen will be viewed as equally likely to tick the third box as Grier, which would make him expendable.

FWIW, I think the second person whose long-term future in Carolina has been most impacted is Allen, himself.  His trade value has probably gone from nonexistent to something if the Panthers ultimately decide to play the NE Patriots with their backup and peddle him for whatever some team desperate for a QB will offer.

And I know a source inside the Panthers building who insists they plan to actively shop Cam.  Of course, that source was in there at 1:30 in the morning, with a mop, and had consumed his daily quota of Wild Turkey by that time, but never the less, he is a source inside the building.

Smart move sounds like it would be to sit him all season, sell the idea it's only injuries and he's actually still an all pro, swindle a team for a 1st/2nd or maybe even more after a bidding war, and then with all that cap and picks we can legit assemble the most talented roster in the league the next two years while CMC is still affordable.  Depending on FA i could see us assembling a legendary defense with no weaknesses.

you're not paid to be a propagandist so you don't actually have to do it. showing up to cape for the mr scots of this forum is a bad look. we have more than enough mouthpieces, official and unofficial, for this team already. maybe try to carve out your own lane???

What the hell are you talking about?

I have no idea what that means.

It's suggesting that you'd alter the truth to try to win favor with the Panthers.

Basically, a swipe at your integrity, likely at least partially due to the fact that you've said good things about Kyle Allen in the past.
