A purely statistical analysis of Kyle Allen this season

Allen has got to get the ball downfield soon or he will be easy to game plan against. He's technically a rookie so we can't really be mad that he has flaws but we have some older players that don't have much time left so the window is short.

Samuel and Moore each had to stop in their routes because Allen couldn't get it deep enough

I think Dak is a good QB but I think paying him what the Cowboys did is a huge mistake. He's good, he's not great.

I've said previously I don't see us making the playoffs this year. To be clear, that's not solely based on Kyle Allen. I just don't think the overall team is good enough.

Nothing today has changed my mind. Honestly, why would it?

If anything is going to keep us out of the playoffs, it's our inability to stop the run.

If the Tennessee coaching staff had a brain, they would have ran Henry every play until he racked up 200 yards. Vrabel did us a huge favor that many other coaches will not

I'm concerned about our OL too.

I know they're getting praise right now, but my concern is it might be fool's gold.

I struggle coming up with a current comparison. Chad Pennington is probably the closest comp I've seen in my time.

One thing I've noticed is that pretty much every time somebody comes up with a quarterback to compare him to, it always seems to be a West Coast quarterback.

Not saying the comparisons don't fit mind you, just something I noticed.

Of course, DeAngelo Williams thinks that's what we run anyway, so...

Yeah, they did an admirable job against tenn, though. How many strong defensive fronts have we got left to play in the last 8 games?

A few. I know there was talk of Green Bay being really good early in the season but I don't know if that's continued.

I'll agree last game was good, but that 49er game left me with PTSD.

That game left everyone with ptsd. I think green bay and the saints are the only half decent ones we have left. Seattle isn't a defense to be feared

That's where his skill set fits best. He makes quick decisions and he's a very good short to intermediate passer with no deep ball.

I could see it.

Could also see him working well in an Erhardt-Perkins like the Steelers and the Patriots run.
