if there's one thing i'm tired of is trying to use him almost exclusively as a deep threat. I don't think that's his game, at least not yet.

Let him get in space. Run him on drags, ins, outs, curls. Quick things. 

He's not a WR so expecting him to just turn into a deep threat right now isn't bearing fruit. Even with Cam he wasn't a deep threat outside of the previous TC.

Samuel is an ok receiver if you get him the ball in space.  He is not a good physical receiver that can out leap or out muscle someone for a catch.  He should probably be our third receiver.

Yeah. I agree on that. Samuel had his dude by several steps and has to stop.  That needs to be fixed.
