Luke finished the game with 1 Solo Tackle and 3 Assists

I have seen this trend all year long. Teams are playing with Luke to move him out of the plays. The game today Donte Jackson led the Panthers with 5 tackles, Luke had 1 solo tackle and 3 assists. This is the main reason for our poor Run Defense. It’s tough to ask your cornerbacks to keep making tackles then defend 50 yards down the field. I hope we can fix this!

Seems like they figured him out he doesn't get deep enough on throws down the middle can't shed blocks gets caught up in the wash hoping it's an off year for him but he's not close to what we expect out of him

This so called "hybrid" isn't doing him any favors.

I think it is more, they let him diagnose what he thinks the play is, then run something different. That way Luke cheats like he always does to fill the right gap, but the play goes to the other side or another gap.

People are not going to like this but Shaq is overrated. They run away from Luke and make Shaq beat them on the run.

Luke has regressed quite a bit.

I've pondered whether the scheme is a problem, but even if it is, I'm not sure you can put it all on that.

But the huddle told me the 3-4 would be perfect for Luke and he wouldn't have to worry about extra blockers

1 Tackle Mr. Scot, 1 Tackle. Technically Kyle Allen had 1 Tackle too.

McCoy was one of the only highlights of the defensive line tonight.

I get that. It's pretty clear he hasn't been his usual self this season.
