This Game will tell me Alot

I finally feel KA has reached a point where the game has slowed down for him and he can run the offense fairly efficiently. The run Defense MUST be fixed this game, if we are still getting gashed as we are fairly healthy it will tell me all i need to know about Ron. If we need to employ a 46 bear or 52 on obvious run downs i want them held under 100 or under 4 ypc.

The only thing this game can possibly tell us is that we're absolutely out of the playoff picture if we lose it.

The Falcons are a 2-7 team. Beating them doesn't tell you much of anything.

If we win it will tell us what we already know, we can beat crap teams, but have yet to beat any really good teams.

Kyle Allen has to stop turning the ball over for us to win, cant have fumbles when you are leading the game which directly leads to them taking the lead. Cant have INT's in the red zone when you are trying to comeback.

Its still the NFL and trust me if we have not fixed our gap control we will get gashed and this game will be closer then it should. Every NFL game can tell you something, there is something every team can do well and no team is that awful al la they just bested the Saints.

Even if we give some short throws up we must show that we can stop the run....its time.

This game won't show that even if we do have success slowing their running game down. They're the 4th worst rushing offense in the league and they're missing their starting RB. If they run the ball down our throats tomorrow then it's all but confirmed - we will likely end up being one of the all-time pathetic run defenses in NFL history.

As long as he backs it up i dont have a problem...two or three sack game maybe?

Love it, if the team can rally around the poo talking.

But sometimes this can spark a fire with the opposition and backfire. He's just adding a little amo to a pretty confident falcon team after thrashing the saints

Above average HBs are a dime a dozen bad gap control will result in him getting a high ypc. Hell the way hbs come about in the NFL he might be the next freeman no on knows about, there is a reason they dont cost alot unless they are elite....only pass catching hbs like CMC are worth paying imo.

Things change in the NFL from week to week.  A week ago, most here would have predicted the Saints to win the rest of their games, but they lost to Atlanta and looked bad doing it.  We could lose this game and win out, or win it and lose out.  The only thing it will really tell us is if we are going to be 5-5 or 6-4.

Being 5-5 in the NFC this year might mean you have to win out to have a shot at the playoffs. A big issue we have is that we're at the bottom of the barrel 5-4 teams because they all currently hold tie breakers over us.

    • Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!
    • Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.
    • OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
