Tepper speaks

Captain Morgan

What I get out of it about Cam is weird they said he needed rest and then they IR'd him and he said he was going to have surgery. Now they say they don't know if he is having surgery. We all blamed the team when Cam didn't want to have shoulder surgery the first time and wondered why he didn't have it until like March. Looks like Cam is making the calls, I would say if he decides to not have surgery he will not be in a Panthers uni next year. I really think the bridge has burned. Also if Ron is kept for another year Tepper is a joke of a owner, and Ron stole his brass balls to put in his office.

Most teams have had back to back winning seasons sometime in their existence (Im not sure if any have not other than us). I mean the super bowls were nice, would have been even nicer to win one, but for us to fill up our stadium we need to give people a reason to watch every year not every other couple of years.

A google search of "nfl teams without back to back winning seasons" Only brings up the carolina panthers, that is terrible.

We've had back to back playoffs, which is far more important.

I don't give a f*ck about winning seasons that don't give us playoffs.

Well yea if you just want to go by Super Bowls but in reality only two teams make it.

If you want to break it downs into regular season wins/losses since 1995, the Panthers are close to the bottom 30% of the NFL.

We are 199-201-1, or around .500. That's 19th of all teams, which is damn impressive given how most expansion teams do. There is a 0% chance we are in the bottom 30% since 1995 with a .500 record.

All options are on the table. Far from “the writing is on the wall.”  The writing that I’m seeing is that he’s going to handle it smartly, and get all the info possible on Cam’s ability to stay healthy before making a decision. That’s all I ask for. If Cam isn’t going to be able to stay healthy, it’s time to move on. If it’s likely he can stay healthy, then it would be a colossal mistake to get rid of him.
