Offensive Line is the main area of weakness and I’m not sure you have done enough to improve it

Right!!! We need a real center and drafting one in the first round seems the best way to do it. And be sure to get rid of Williams who seems to have forgotten how to block sitting out last season. And don't shackle us with Tua, geez louise.

This would be replacing a veteran QB with major injury concerns with a rookie QB with major injury concerns. I'm not a fan of this idea.

Tua will be sitting next season or at least half the season. And when he comes back healthy we will have our future QB. Tua will go in the 1st rd regardless. The question is who will take him and we have an owner who I think will have the balls to do that. Teams that are QB needy like Cincy, Miami and TB just can’t invest in sitting a rookie QB for a year. They need to win some games next year. If we don’t take Tua, Sean Payton or Belichick will. Jeffrey Simmons tore his ACL two months before the draft and still went to the Titans at pick 19. Simmons has played the last 5 games.

Cam who is a running QB has shoulder and foot injuries. Tua has a dislocated hip. That will not affect his throwing in the NFL.

Fix the Oline and Dline and then you can get a real look at what you have in the skill positions.

You guys will drop all rational thinking once the guys run their 40's at the combine.

Everyone here will be clamoring for the fastest WR's and talk down about every WR we have.  Happens each year.

@OP.  What sort of Defensive scheme were you planning to run with the personnel listed?

If I understand you correctly, you're proposing basically a red shirt year for him in 2020. For a team with as many hole as the Panthers do, I don't know if that's the best use of a 1st round pick. Maybe a new coach/GM combo figures they have the time and like the upside, but it seems like a big gamble.

Any scenario that doesn't address the trenches is batshit insane.  You fix those, you make yourself a contender.

A new coach is going to bring in a new philosophy.  That is about the only certainty for the off-season at this point.  Once that is settled, then you get at best a 30% rate of success at seeing how the off-season will play out with respect to personnel.

I know there's been a ton of chatter, but I think Chicago will give Tru-biscuit another year..

Nagy will be on the hot seat immediately if he go with Mitch and Chase Daniel again next year. They have a defense that they believe can win a SB.

Where in my scenario did I not address the trenches? I went after Armstead and Shelton, two ginormous mammoths to help fix the run defense. Then in the 2nd round of the draft, I took Kindley a 330+ OG who is considered by some to be the best OG in this draft. And I  took Runyan later in the draft. What else do you want? Moton is the RT. Trai is the RG. Little was drafted so high that he will be rolling in next year as the LT. And Little has shown some promises there. There is just no way to cut Paradis.

It’s time to start rebuilding for this franchise and it starts at QB. The CAM days are done whether you like it or not. If you don’t have a QB, you will not go anywhere as a team. We have a lot of needs but in my scenario, I addressed all those needs in order for us to be able to take Tua in the 1st round. I will take a risk on Tua early than taking a guy like Jordan Love or Eason in the 2nd round.

Tee Higgins and I don’t care if he runs a 4.9
