Stated my case a while back, I would prefer Colbert and Roman to most all others.

There are a few reasons.

They are both acquainted with each other, both are coming from winning programs, Roman seems to be very imaginative, something that we have been lacking for a LONG time, and the way that Colbert structures contracts is exactly the way that I prefer to execute them.

Surprised you didn't put this in the other thread...

You and I can go back and forth on this with me taking Campbell and Ireland. It'll be like the old "less filling, tastes great" beer commercials :)

Lincoln Riley will need three years or so to adjust to the NFL game. The same can be said for Arizona’s HC. Hell, Lincoln has never even played in the NFL. I can’t explain to folks just how different college and the NFL are, they are almost two different games. I think he could be successful given a three to five year window, that is not something Jerry Jones is willing to give to him.

Jones has given Jason Garrett a pretty good window though.

And I don't think that can be attributed to Garrett being an especially good coach for winning most of his games. It's primarily because Jerry loves the idea of having a former Cowboys quarterback as his head coach.

Gotta remember when it comes to Jones, it's not always about the football.
