The Panthers actually practiced yesterday, but Greg Little wasn't on the field due to an ankle issue suffered during the last game.

Rivera isn't exactly sounding encouraged.

I wonder what film RR is watching.  Maybe it is old college films where he did dominate the LDE's in college.  Or maybe RR got his hand over his eyes shaking his head wondering why they picked him at Number 2 last year.

Well, nobody ever accused Ron of being a great talent evaluator.

(at least not anybody who knew what they were talking about)

I was not a fan of the Pick.  I was not a fan of Burns either.  I rather we had picked Dillard as our LT and we could gotten as good of pass rusher in the 2nd round as Burns.  I agree he is fast but not strong enough to bull rush.  If the tackle locks him down his speed is not helping him in a situation like that.  Sorry we wasted our picks in needing to move up to get Allen.  We had 3 picks in the first 100 picks....between the Allen pick and out next pick we waited for 100 players to come off the board.

I'll just leave this here...

Missing what amounted to an old extra point with the game on the line isn’t mediocre, it’s loser behavior. Belichick would have left Slye in New Orleans and burned his jersey. Rivera gives him a pat on the back and a foot massage.

    • New season new teams. Everyone we face has improved their team as well. There's now a full season of tape on Canales's offense and Bryce running it. When they win 7 games I will become a believer.
    • I mean I think its a bit disingenuous to call basically anyone here a casual fan. I don't think the casual fan creates a profile then logs into it, in the offseason, to comments on mundane offseason topics.. I dont think anyone on here would be considered a casual fan. That said, I get your point. My POV is from the player. They sign this contract, move their family because of these contracts. When Clowney came him, we basically had a coming home party for him.  So yeah, I get why we did it and I know that ultimately the owner doesnt 'save' money, but I can feel for the human side of the player, which is why I want them to get all they can while they can.
    • My guess is the NBA will either send Flagg back “home” to the Northeast in Brooklyn or Washington, or San Antonio so that they can keep building around Wemby. If I was a betting man I would take the odds on the Spurs. This definitely feels like a #1 pick that they will rig.
