I fully expect to win the next two games. A small playoff hope will continue until we play Seattle. We’ll proceed to lose a nail bitter to Seattle ending our playoff chances. We’ll fall to the Colts in Indy and close out with a W against a Saints team that has nothing to play for.

8-8

Typical Panther fashion

I think we beat the Skins, Colts, and it depends on the Stains' situation.   Falcons, Seahawks--if we get by them, this place will change attitudes.

:eyeroll:I am willing to bet most of the comics here did not read the post.  Nobody predicts this--nobody says it is likely.  However, we have 3 weak teams (Falcons, Skins, and Colts) and we have one team that may be resting starters.  The other game (Seattle) could be a road trap game for the Hawks.   It is what it is--deal with it like adults or children--up to you.

I asked that you "suspend the negativity" because I understand the argument against this happening.  So congrats.  You got some low hanging fruit after I provided a step ladder.

The panthers will be only the second team in the past 15 years to make the playoffs with an oline ranked as bad as they are.

not only that....

they’ll be practically the only team EVER to make the playoffs with the defense run d ranked where they are

not only that

they will be one of the very very few teams to ever make it with their special teams and kicker rank

Not only that

they will be the  ONLY team EVER In NFL history to make it with all of these issues...

wow talk about setting records! We have a chance lol

Thanks for illustrating my point.

We will lose next week to be eliminated from the playoffs, then win out. It’s the Panther Way (tm)

And fans on here will say that they’d rather win the last three meaningless games and draft 18th than lose and draft 8th, because winning builds character. Just like they were happy they beat the Saints last season and lost 7 spots in the draft order. Some character that built, right?

Well drafting high has built some juggernauts in Cleveland, Detroit, etc... Huh?

    • PFF feeds the beast.  So it’s largely popular for that IMO and is embraced by the NFL machine because it helps feed the beast.  Thats why you see the cute stats pop on the Monday Night football screen lol.  Hot takes? Fantasy football? Yeah, it’s good for the NFL machine for lots of reason.  I do think the league embraces them.  Not because they are actually good at doing what they claim. actual analytics folks are critical of PFF.  Because it’s not analytics.  It’s subjective goobly goo ratings by dudes that aren’t really qualified nor even have the info to do real grading.  you got legit NFL players who say they have literally put PFF grades by the coaches grades and they are worlds apart.  Players have laughed at them pretending they can grade certain plays without the underlining info.  NFL coaches have called out there bologna at pressers.   could it be a quick tool to find out some info that has nothing to with their subjective grades? Sure.  There is a lot of data on 32 teams for cheap. But I do not buy the narrative 32 NFL teams think their grades are worth a poo or remotely accurate or meaningful.
    • Bills D looks like ass
    • I think that win vs Dallas gave them a big boost of confidence.  Thats a team that blew us out the past 2 seasons. Even when Bryce was playing okay late last season they still beat us pretty bad.  Lets see if we slaughter the Jets or go back to playing sloppy uninspired football and go from there.
