Usually i would agree. But i think we need a qb this year. A nice early pick could set us up with burrow or another stud qb that could be the future of our franchise. Kyle i dont think is that guy and Cam is never going to be the guy he was  before 2015.

Cam was dangerous because he was a dual threat. If he cant run anymore he does not have the accuracy to be a franchise qb and that is even if he can stay healthy. His shoulder is too big of a concern to bet the future of our franchise on and our new head coach may want his own guy. Too many risks.

Cam has been a franchise QB for the last 8 years.

Not sure what youre pushing here but the dude has been the cornerstone of this team since 2011

Ive thought for a long time that his game is won or lost by the guys who put their hand on the ground.

Our O and D lines are horrible.

We've had a coach who believed that you could get away with skimping on the O-Line as long as you had a mobile quarterback.

Now we don't have a mobile quarterback, but we still have the same O-line.

I just dont think he is coming back. I think he knows something that we dont. There is probably a reason he isnt at the games. Its like he has already moved on.

Also, when you offer a contract, it is based on what you can do for the team in the future. Not based on when he has done in the past. Cam has been great for us for a long time, but the beatings he has sustained are taking their toll and the unjuries are piling up. He also lost 30plus pounds before the season. He will never be the runner he once was, even if he could stay healthy.

And our lines are what produced the shitshow we witnessed today.

CMC Is an all world RB when the O line can make a hole for him

Our D can be unreal when our LB/DBs are not taking on the guards and tackles of the opponent

Win the battle at the LOS and win the game.

And you know this how?

Do you have access to the training room or practice?  Are you privy to the same info that the coaches are?

Not bagging on you but you are making some pretty absolute statements here.

I fear we may need a near entire rebuild of our lines. Paradis has been awful. I'm not sold on Little and Daley as future answers. Turner has been a JAG ever since he got his big money deal and Moton who I expected to be our best OL has struggled himself.

On the other side of the ball, we only have two DTs under contract for next season and they're both over 30, both coming off of season ending injuries, and they're combining to hit us for nearly $34M against the cap next season. Meanwhile, we don't have a single proven true DE currently under contract next year.

Ive just watched football a long time and cam has taken as much or more of a beating than an NFL running back does. Running backs dont last long for that same reason. Im not sayong that Cam is a running back, but he has certainly taken the hits and wear and tear that an rb takes. When he was you ger he could take the pounding, but these past 2 years show me that he cant anymore. Plus i think that being a vegan makes it even harder for him to recover as he gets less natural protein and testosterone. Probably why he has lost 30 pounds of muscle.

You know what pisses me off, the Dolphins, a team *clearly* throwing talent out the window in search of draft picks and sacrificing the entire season, has won three times.  We have apparently been "trying", and yet managed only five wins.

Pretty much.
