Ron's first interview since getting fired: Rich Eisen..link included

The best fit for what Ron described he's looking for in his next head coaching gig is definitely the Browns. They are loaded with talent but lack a stable leader to keep them all in line. If those players don't respect Ron, they won't respect any coach.

It also sounds like he's hoping the Cowboys position opens up.

So Ron is looking to ramp up his role and responsibilities in the next HC job?

Before he gets to play a GM type control on top of everything me thinks he first better learn how ........make half time adjustments.............and manage a clock better in late game drives.

I'd say he's putting the cart before the horse on this one..........

He took blame sir. It only took 9 years to do so but he did.

But he still didn't. He said he "feels like it's his fault". That's not saying "I am responsible" or "it is my fault". That's like me hitting someone in the face with a bat and saying "I feel  like I did that" instead of "Yeah, I did that".

I wish Rivera the best, preferably in the AFC.

And I'll tell you what, watching the excellence of the other 3 QBs in the NFC South over the last few weeks makes you realize winning the division back-to-back-to-back was something to be proud of.

I believe it was time to move on, but the next coach is taking on a challenge, not just with our roster.

Brees doesn't look like he is ready to submit to Father Time

Ryan and his weapons are still formidable

Jameis still makes mistakes, but he is becoming an offensive force with Evans and Godwin in Arians' system

I want to be a homer, but it is extremely hard to see us not being the clear favorite for the bottom of the NFC South next year (and maybe the next couple of years) unless Cam comes back healthy and in a Panthers uniform.

I hope he stays in the NFC, Falcons would be great. If he’s as terrible a coach as most people here think then there’s nothing to worry about.

If Ron would have just made adjustments he would not be looking for a team. Play to the strength of your team in the moment. Stop trying to impose your on playing style when it clearly is not working or stopped working. Every coach knew they had a chance to beat the panthers . Even when we were up by 20 plus points. Just wasted talent and time. I'm just disappointed in this era.
