I don't think Bradberry is great, but I think he's solid. He also has increased value for us because he just so happens to be the type of CB who matches up favorably with the elite #1 WRs of our division rivals. He's always going to have issues against speedy twitchy WRs. That's why we need Jackson to pull his head ou t of his ass. He has to be able to handle those guys or we have to find someone who can.

I agree, and with a new scheme that requires CBs to contain more in the run game, and a new coach--aside from the fact that he has little S halp, etc.   it is hard to say that he got worse in 2019.

Bradberry's completion against percentage was 44% in 2018; it is 64% in 2019, fwiw.  We have one of the strongest pass rushes in the NFL---so there is reason for concern.

I hate agreeing with Forty-eight because he is impulsive, emotional, and rarely uses any data to support his wild accusations, but if you want to use 2019 as a barometer (all 14 games), he has been slightly below average, but he has 3 picks.

And two of the three ints was on Jamies Winston who is a turnover machine

So, is being solid in today’s NFL get you 14+ million a year?

Mind boggling.  Dude has locked down almost every star receiver in the league.  Has he been beaten?  Uh yeah, but have you seen the WR just in our division?  His weakest matchups are in practice every week.  Jones/Ridley, Thomas/Ginn, Evans/Godwin.  Thats 6 games every year.

"Hey James, how about you not suck and goose egg Julio?  Bum!"  Thats what you sound like.

He doesn’t make enough game changing play. He’ll have some good games vs the NFCS top receivers but he gives it back to them. This year, he has played pretty bad against those guys. He’s not a guy who can completely shut down one side of the field like a Darrelle Revis or Stephon Gilmore. Bradberry is as above average as you can get.

LOL. Literally took one minute for you to directly contradict yourself and it didn't even take any prodding.

Hopefully his price has gone down, but we gotta keep James he's the only decent player in this secondary

I would love to keep him at 10-12m a year but that won’t happen. It takes just one dumb GM that want to give him 14-16 million and he’s gone. And that franchise will regret that contract in 2 years
