CMC reception record

He was two yards away from tying the record for most 175 yard games in a season and they pulled him off the field because they just had to evaluate Reggie Bonnafon

this milquetoast franchise lacks any competitive spirit at any level and it's reflected in how often our receivers are outwillwd for footballs

Obviously Tua is going to get drafted by somebody and he's going to give it everything he has but I'm not convinced he's a star quarterback in the NFL

my concern is the injury history.  I think he has the physical skills if he can stay on the field.

why? it is the only good thing for the Panthers to come out of this season.  This is a Panthers forum.  Let us have that small joy.

We're really only further driving his value up, and that's on top of us trying to force feed the whole offense through him. All we've done is shown the rest of the NFL we can't win without CMC having a career day despite having a talented receiver like DJ Moore.

Truthfully if I'm the Panthers next year I would be willing to listen to trade offers for pretty much any player at this point if I'm serious about fixing this shitshow. Our defense could very well be a mess for years, but we need to turn this offense around quickly or we may end up in the cellar for awhile. We can't begin that process without the QB. Clearly Allen isn't the answer. Grier isn't ready, and he's even younger than Kyle. If you're a Panthers fan don't get too attached to any of these players. There could be some big roster changes in store for 2020.

You are insufferable. You can’t even enjoy the one good piece of this team.

You literally said don’t drive the value up! But we should entertain trade offers!

Finally; except for Cam right?

    • Also, you don't really get good value by drafting a center in the first.
    • First off, we haven't been ignoring the defense. We have drafted several defensive players, but, perhaps more importantly, we have added good pieces in free agency. Secondly, the offense was still kinda bad (27th or so depending where you look at). You can't just say we can't pick an offensive guy while acknowledging that the offense wasn't good. Everything is on the table. Like I said above, it seems kind of counterproductive to say that we shouldn't draft an offensive player high unless they're at certain positions. The offense was mediocre at best. Sure, we had an uncanny knack to win some close games at opportune times, but the offense wasn't really good. To me, it makes little sense to put limitations on who/what we should draft when we need an upgrade at so many positions. What you look at is trying to get the best value--bang for your buck so to speak--and that's the way it should be. D-Mo has used FA to set up the draft in order not to be pigeonholed into anything, and that's the way that it should be.
    • Hubert has plenty of money. I don't hate the guy. I think he a legit good guy. This is Ron Rivera all over again for me. It's just very obvious a coaching change is needed and it audka we gottaboart ways with a good guy and I'd much rather it work out but the same issues appearing again and again year after year are clearly shouting what needs to happen. With that said, if we hire Todd Golden, that's it. I'm out. I'd greatly prefer to just keep getting disappointed by Hubert. I can at least stand to root for that.
