That’s not what I’m saying at all. I’m saying no one believed Lamar Jackson could translate into the pros. And he’s proving people wrong now. Don’t doubt a kid playing ball in college. College coaches don’t care about grooming players. They only care about “wins”.

Herbert has the prototypical size and arm for an NFL QB, I am concerned about him getting killed behind the type of offensive lines we like to roll out! 

He hasn't necessarily proved himself against elite defenses either.

Herbert has looked bad against top tier defenses. He's a one read/half field read QB too. He's an interesting development prospect from a physical tools standpoint but I don't think it's going to be good if you ask him to start as a rookie.
