Dang, I saw he was already looking at potential staff, but I had no idea he was that far along.

Who would you want for DC  Mr. Scot?

I don't know enough about Gannon to say yea or nay. The only thing I know for sure is he's who McDaniels was going to have as his DC if he had taken the Colts job.

Back when it looked like Matt Patricia was gonna get fired by the Lions, I thought he'd have been a good choice.

The one thing these guys have in common...finally, is that they are all offensive minded guys.

Who would you want to be their DC to be?  Remember, our defense is a hot mess right now.

From earlier linked article:

“Kevin O’Connell, who is the quarterbacks coach here, who was the quarterback here in 2008, he potentially would be in that staff,” Breer explained. “Jonathan Gannon, who was going to be on his Colts staff, is [defensive backs] coach there, probably would be his defensive coordinator. You’re not doing these sorts of things unless you’re planning to leave, and I do think that that’s part of the equation here. So I do think Cleveland or Carolina if structure was right there, if the right people are in place, I think he goes.

47% of this forum thinks the ultra competitive hedge fund guy who fired Rivera for not being analytical enough is going to hire the running backs coach who laminates Andy Reid's playbook

 Amazing prediction skills on display

Bieniemy's odds are less than 5%

want the enemy, think its gonna be mcd.   do not want stef, or that complete and total loser jim 'the man with no soul' harbaugh.  word is harbaugh has to give urban a reach around to get his soul back and doesn't want to.  i don't make the news, i just report it.

    • I think in all honestly, the final 2 games are carrying most of the weight in a lot of Bryce talk IMO.    During the window where he "blew it out of the water" window......were a lot of games where he was not above average.  AZ is largely one of those stat sheet games.   Where the stat sheet reflects QB play that didn't exist in the game.  That game was all Chuba.  Meh vs Dallas.  Meh vs Philly.  Meh vs Giants.  Probably average vs Tampa, Den, Saints.  Bryce made HUGE strides vs what he was.  We should be happy.   But when you start comparing him to the rest of the league.....people I think are going too far.  His best aspect in reality.....is his scrambling.  And that's probably not a great thing give his size.
    • Mays and Zavala looked lost in the Reich offense.  Granted Zalava was probably playing too soon due to injuries but he looked terrible.  This new staff seems to be doing well with our OL.  I also wonder if having two vets in Hunt and Lewis just made life that much easier on whoever was/is playing center.
    • What the Panthers should target in order (via free agency or via trade): 1. Julian Blackmon  2. Mike Hilton 3. Jaire Alexander 4. Jalen Ramsey
