The Process

From what I've read so far, he is an aggressive coach, who specializes in red zone strategies, both on Offense and Defense.

This is music to my ears. One thing that always annoyed me about Rivera is the number of times he fell back on the old cliche, "we had to take what they gave us."

Just think of the games we lost early on (3? 4?) because we couldn't score from inside the 5?  As many key injuries as we suffered, it could've easily been a 9-10 win season if those bad play calls (or poor execution) had been more imaginative or aggressive.  It speaks to coaching and attitude, and he will do better, on both counts.

Dictate your desires to your opponent, don't just take what they want to give you.

Rivera talked about dictating to opponents in his introductory presser, but he never did.

Actually, Rivera talked about a lot of things he never did (maybe that "long look" at Cameron Artis-Payne will happen in DC).

From what I've read about Rhule though, he's a "no BS" guy, so I'll take him at his word till I have reason not to.

What sold me on Rhule was watching how eagerly former NFL players on the ESPN desk jumped onboard after hearing what he had to say. Those same players had a very "yeah, that's some BS" take on McCarthy's presser shortly to follow. These guys have heard plenty of "coach speak" through their careers and are almost certainly more adept than I am at determining whether it's genuine or BS.
