its hard for me to understand why you would want him playing here given we're in full rebuild, except that he's your favorite player.   it doesn't seem to me to be in his best interest.  personally i think its over.  the '15 team had its chance and failed thanks to ron.     that said, i have no say, just an opinion   i'll support what the team and cam decide.

It's hard to find a franchise QB.. Plain and simple.. And when healthy he is a guy who can carry a team which is also very hard to find .  He is in his early 30 in a league where QB'S are playing to their late 30' early 40'.. Having a franchise QB makes a rebuild easier.. Russell Wilson is older then Cam and the Seahawks just went thru a rebuilding without losing much on the field.. Because they had Russell... If you can't understand why ppl would rather gamble on getting Cam healthy instead of  gambling that we can  find another "never seem before talent" like him.  Then I don't know how to help you...

Not the problem.. read the rest of the fuging post... I said "some ppl would rather gamble on getting a healthy Cam back then trying to find another QB like him".. 

We don't have to extend before we find out if he is healthy so that is a moot question...

Except we do have to extend him.  He isnt going to play on a one year deal that would be insane for him.  He can hold out and wait to be cut and then go to a team of his choice for something like 3 years 40 million.

 

Why in the hell would cam suit up for this franchise as it stands today?

wilson is a lot better than cam.  a whole lot better.   and cam had 1 great year.   he's good and a game changer, and sometimes he's great, but he's not a generational talent, a never before seen talent, or anything like that.   he's not even getting in the hof at this point.  this is where you get clouded by your personal feelings about him.   he's about the 12th best qb in the league.    it is hard to find someone as good as he is, but its not impossible, and we can win with a more consistent but less talented qb.     also thinking that cam can play into his late 30's is kinda ridiculous, but we'll see.

1.he is not healthy

2. he is going to want a new deal wherever he goes

3. He aint playing on a rebuild with all his buddies gone

Cam has more individual awards, more broken records and actually carried a below avg. offense to a superbowl ..

Cam as a rookie took the worst offense in the league to top 5 with literally no offseason and the same players Clausen had...
