Part of me wants to be excited, part of me worries that I will wake up in 3 years to Nick Saban

It would've been interesting to see how Saban's NFL career turned out if they'd signed Brees like he reportedly wanted instead of Culpepper who never recovered from that knee injury. Ironic how they didn't want Brees due to injury concern and he went on to rewrite NFL passing record books while Culpepper was the one who never returned to form.

Brady, Peetz, Angelichio, Meyer, Phair and Simmons.

Phair had experience with Snow. Meyer was like the third or fourth choice for his position.

Still kinda blows my mind that we interviewed three coaches with extensive NFL experience for the quarterback coach job and hired none of them.

I would bet we offered at least one of them the QB coach job.

Any idea how many assistants Ron ever brought in who had no past experience with him (if any)?

For you guys that followed the scouting department, what sort of continuity have the Panthers had between the Hurney early years, the Gman years and now back to Hurney?

The scouting dept should be laying out all the options and rankings.  I am wondering why Hurney seems to get the 2nd and 3rd round wrong more often the Gman did
